| Customer Reviews: Ford Escape Ignition Coils. January 30, 2010 Northern Virginia Professional The coils were shipped quickly. My son installed them without any problem. Cars runs exceptionally well. The product may not be produced in a Ford factory, but it is fine! We replaced all 6 coils for the price of 1. I would use this seller again.
False advertising February 1, 2010 B. Shockley (Lansing, MI) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Said it was OEM on the description but was some other cheap kind.... They false advertised and now I have to get factory parts from some other place... Should say they are knock offs and not put OEM in the description... Only buy if you want knock offs not the real thing
don't waste your time and money February 6, 2010 Bin Cheng (NJ, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Ordered 6, the price is so attractive. I was so disappointed when I got them, no label, no brand, nothing described about the part. And they do not look like new at all, they feel like rebuilt coils. Just replaced 3 front of my Escape, not a surprise, the plastic cover of all three plug-in cracked while connecting to the wire outlet, one of them even totally fragmentized in the connector, I have to tape the connecting area to protect it from water and dirt, don't know how long the tape can last. The plastic used on this coil is the lowest quality material I've ever see on any auto parts, even much worse than those cheap parts sold in AutoZone.
This is second Ford I owned, ever used cheap coils from AutoZone on my first Ford, did not have problem like this.
And three back coil of my V6 Escape were replaced half a year ago while it was tuned up at 100,000 miles, three Motorcraft coils I bought from dealer are perfect.
Will never buy anything from this seller, already wasted a lot of my time and money.
