This product is fantastic! Looks and works great!
Easy to Install...
I used two, #2 pencils taped to the bumper to line it up and space it evenly.

This is easy to install, works like a charm, and surpassed my expectations. This light bar is super bright! I am a construction Inspector, and work along busy highways. I was going to also add some professional lights, but in hazard mode you can see this bar from a great distance. I feel plenty safe and will hold off with the other lights for a while. RECON products seem to be quality to me!

I installed this Recon 26411 60" Hyperlite "Line of Fire" LED Tailgate Light Bar on my 2004 F-150 Supercrew. My truck has a metal pin attached to the bottom of the tail gate. When you open the tail gate... the pin swings into an opening in the truck body. This is a safety feature on Ford trucks to help carry the weight placed on the tailgate. This pin can interfere with the position of the light bar if your not very careful. I chose to use a hacksaw and cut 1/16" off of the pin. The pin is still long enough to act as a "safety pin" and yet the pin clears the light bar with no problems. As other reviewers have said: Once the Light Bar is put in place... you have very little wiggle room to move it or straighten it out so... make sure you have it lined up where you want it before you allow the adneasive to touch the truck. I chose to use self tapping aluminum screws in adition to the adheasive tape for security reasons. My trucks towing package has two different places I can plug this Light Bar in, so that was a breeze. The Light Bar was installed a few Months ago and is working flawless! When I step on the brakes the roof light, brake lights, towing hitch light and the Light Bar will light up. No excuses for people behind me to not know I'm slowing down or stopping. I've driven in all types of weather and temperatures and blasted the light bar at the truck wash and the quality of the light bar continues to perform with excellence! There are alot of junk (cheap) light bars out there... don't waste your money. Recon is the best and Amazon has the lowest price.

Fit just right. Only thing is make sure your tailgate will open where you are trying to position it. I made the mistake of not doing that so now im stuck not being able to open my tailgate for a while :P. I highly recommend the product though. Its real bright at night and very visible during a bright day.
